What Onsharp does

Onsharp builds custom software, employee and dealer portals, and mobile apps, and since 2000 has done so from Fargo, North Dakota. The homepage now leads with legacy software modernization, which the agency defines as rebuilding an outdated system on modern technology while preserving the workflows the business depends on, either all at once or in phases. A second line covers new builds with a contained scope, such as employee portals and single-workflow applications.

The agency also sells products. Onsharp Core is an HR employee portal covering onboarding, timesheets, PTO, benefits documents, pay stubs, a directory, team chat, AI chat support, and role-based training and certification tracking. It integrates with QuickBooks and Azure DevOps. Onsharp Connect is a client portal product for self-service. Onsharp states that every developer, project manager, and architect is US-based with no offshore handoffs. The services FAQ says every engineer is on the Fargo payroll working US business hours, while the about page says team members also work remotely across North America. The site claims more than 1,200 clients over 25 years and a 5.0 Clutch rating.

Pricing and engagement

Custom software pricing is not published. The directory listing records $100 to $149 per hour and a minimum project size of $10,000 or more. The services FAQ explains the sequence: an initial call yields a general cost range, then a paid discovery process at a set price produces the architecture and a fine-tuned build cost, and the client is free to walk away at that point.
